Jerry is an accomplished conservation photographer. He has lived in Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) for more than 40 years. His photographs have been used in national campaigns to promote conservation, peace, and international cooperation, such as “Nicaragua . . . naturalemente” a campaign to help heal post-civil war Nicaragua in the 1990s and “Nuestro Canal, Protegerlo” a campaign to create public awareness and conservation of the Panama Canal watershed. For more than 25 years Jerry has taught photography courses to young environmentalists, passing on his skills and knowledge to the next generation. Jerry has won many international awards for photography, graphic arts, and environmental communications.
